Leadership
The Seng Company is led by its founding principal, Andrew M. Seng, who has been active in the investment management industry for his entire career. Since 2003, Andrew has worked in the commercial and residential real estate industry including experience across all major asset classes such as office, industrial, retail, residential, hotel and mixed-use projects. He has been involved in arranging and concluding more than $1.6 billion in capital placements for real estate ranging from senior-secured debt investments to subordinate capital such as mezzanine financing, preferred equity or joint ventures.
Andrew began his investment career with positions at Putnam Investments and the Investment Office at the University of Notre Dame, which manages the school’s endowment. He served as Executive Vice President for the First Fidelity Companies (www.firstfidelitycompanies.com) for several years, and most recently, he was a Managing Director with HFF, LP (www.hfflp.com). He has been active in several organizations including the CFA Institute, NAIOP, and the Urban Land Institute. In 2006, Andrew was selected as a member of the inaugural Future Leaders program for NAIOP Atlanta, and he was subsequently awarded the Emerging Leader award nationally by NAIOP in that program’s first year. He is a full member of ULI, and he serves as a Vice Chair of an Urban Development/Mixed-use Council.
Andrew earned his Master’s in Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where he was a Dean’s Scholar. He graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame where he received a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. Andrew is a CFA charterholder.
